Twitter’s version of Clubhouse, Spaces, allows Android users to create their own Space now. This was seen in version 8.87.0-release.01, where users find an additional option named Spaces within the tweet button, besides GIF and Photos. Launching a public room, hosts can name it as desired and invite people to join it with a sharable link.

Twitter Spaces For Android Has Come

As the craze around Clubhouse grew, Twitter is pushing its Spaces to the public at large quicker. It started by rolling Spaces to iOS users initially in December and Android users earlier this month . While the iOS version has all the essential features of making and engaging in an audio chat, the Android version is limited.

Users in Twitter Android are allowed to participate in other’s chats but not allowed to make their own rooms. This is changing, as the beta version of Twitter Android version 8.87.0-release.01 is seen to provide the option for creating Spaces (rooms) now.
