A couple of months after its launch, Twitter is now expanding its Blue subscription to 20 more countries, all being European.
Expanding Twitter Blue to Europe
In an effort to attain more revenue, Twitter is expanding its Blue subscription to more countries in Europe, with the latest addition including; Netherlands, Poland, Ireland, Belgium, Sweden, Romania, Czech Republic, Finland, Denmark, Greece, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Slovakia, Latvia, Slovenia, Estonia, Croatia, Luxembourg, Malta, and Cyprus.
This latest addition makes the total serviceable areas of Twitter Blue to 35 countries, where it’s priced at $8 a month on the web and $11 a month on iOS. The additional cost when subscribing through iOS (or Android app) is due to the respective App Store’s tax cut, where Apple and Google charge 30% on every transaction made through them.
