Namecheap made a striking decision to cease serving all the Russian websites, citing the unfair war Russia waging against Ukraine now.
The domain registrar asked all the Russian Russian website owners to move their TLDs to another register and will provide assistance for doing so. Namecheap clearly stated that the ongoing Russian invasion is the cause for this, and aggrieved should blame their own government for such actions.

Namecheap Dumps Russia
Joining the list of tech companies dumping Russia amidst its war against Ukraine, Namecheap announced ceasing operations in Russia too. The US domain registrar has started emailing Russian its users, informing its decision as;
“Unfortunately, due to the Russian regime’s war crimes and human rights violations in Ukraine, we will no longer be providing services to users registered in Russia.”
