We’re just a week away from the official launch of the Ryzen 9 7000 X3D CPUs, and MSI started updating its motherboards to suit these upcoming chips.
The company rolled out AGESA 1.0.0.5c BIOS update to X670 & B650 motherboards – enabling support for the upcoming chips. Aside from compatibility, this update consists of Enhanced Boost Mode and High-Efficiency Mode to offer a better and optimized performance.
Support For New Ryzen 9 7000 Series
The red team is advancing with its plans of launching its high-end CPUs for power-intensive tasks, namely the AMD Ryzen 9 7950 X3D, the Ryzen 9 7900 X3D, and the Ryzen 7 7800 X3D. While the Ryzen 9 7000 Series is set to launch next week, the AMD Ryzen 7 7800 X3D will arrive in April.
As we wait for them, MSI has just rolled out a software update to its X670 & B650 motherboards, bringing them to AGESA 1.0.0.5c BIOS version . This would enable support for the upcoming AMD Ryzen 9 7000 Series chips while including new features.
