Starting today, Instagram is testing NFTs with a select group of users on its platform. And on receiving feedback after this initial phase may expand the functionality, says Adam Mosseri.

These selected users can currently share NFTs they have made or brought from somewhere else to their Feed, Stories, or Messages. Soon after this, Meta’s head Zuckerberg said they’re planning to get NFTs to Facebook soon and possibly to other Meta apps too.

NFTs Support in Instagram

Meta has always been a blockchain enthusiast. While it’s working on a dedicated metaverse altogether, the company started letting creators in Horizon Worlds create and sell their digital stuff (NFTs) last month. And now, the same is coming to Instagram.
