Method 4: From the Overview Screen

Here are the steps that you need to follow to split the screen from the overview section of the particular screen:

  1. First of all, run the apps that you wish to use in split-screen mode on your Chromebook.
  2. After that, press the Show windows button, which is located somewhere near the F5 button.
  3. Now, hold and try to drag the first app on the left side of the screen. You’ll get a message saying, “Drag here to use split-screen .”
