Steps to Change Your Display Name on Gmail

  1. Log in to your Gmail account to which you want to change your display name.
  2. Locate Gmail Settings in the top right corner and click “see all settings.”
  3. By default, you are in the general tab; click on “Accounts and Import.”
  4. In the “send mail as” section, you can see your associated name and email address; in front of that is an option to “edit info” click on it.
  5. After that, a small pop-up box appears where they will ask you for an additional name.
  6. Enter your desired name and click the “save” button. Your new name will appear next to the “send mail as” section.
