LAS VEGAS, January 1, 2026 – The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026, running January 6-9 at the Las Vegas Convention Center with media days starting January 4, is expected to highlight practical AI applications, next-generation displays, and robotics as key trends shaping consumer technology.
Artificial intelligence will feature prominently, moving beyond hype to embedded features in everyday devices. Major announcements include new processors from Intel (Core Ultra Series 3 “Panther Lake”), AMD (Ryzen AI 400 “Gorgon Point” and Ryzen 9000G), and Qualcomm (Snapdragon X2 Elite), designed for enhanced on-device AI processing in laptops and PCs.
Display innovations lead hardware reveals, with Samsung and LG unveiling Micro RGB TVs offering superior brightness and color in sizes up to 115 inches. Competitors like Hisense and Sony may introduce QD-OLED or RGB LED panels, alongside 5K/6K gaming monitors and updated HDR standards such as HDR10+ Advanced.
Robotics continues its rise, building on 2025’s cleaning bots with models featuring improved mobility and mopping. LG’s CLOiD humanoid and potential Samsung Ballie updates emphasize household assistance, supported by advancements in world-model navigation for autonomy.
